... if you could call it that. In Wyoming it's been mostly warm and dry, minus a brutal week or so below zero, and snowing so rarely in town we've almost forgotten what it looks or feels like. Recently we got a nice lil' storm that dropped 4+ inches in town but now it's like 50 degrees outside and it's melting faster than Greenland's ice sheet. And it's still February. Oh well, guess we gotta just put a frilly umbrella in it and enjoy the taste of spring in the midst of winter.
We have shows starting up again. We fired up ol' Steely Van and drove to Billings & Livingston, MT as well as Hill City, SD, with a lil' stop into our local Luminous Brewhouse in-between. Fun to get back out there and start playing again after our usual mid-winter break. We've got a lot of dates on the books that we'll be announcing for 2024 so stay tuned as they become public.
Coming up in March we'll be in Jackson (3.7 Silver Dollar) and Targhee (3.8 & 9 Trap Bar) as well as two nights at The Colonel in Cody (3.22/3.23). In April Julie will be performing with our friend Sarah Sample at the FAB Conference here in Sheridan first weekend, and Dave hopes to sneak away for some adventure skiing somewhere so not much happening music wise, but in May we'll be back to the Black Hills for some shows, and a tour to the Chautauqua Music Festival in Richland, OR.
We're having fun out there - thank you all for showing up and supporting our music - and spreading the word to your friends. We appreciate it. See you soon!
